Hello everyone.
Is Kashmir in the hands of few media people who seem to have a soft corner for the valley majority? I dont remember a single program in the past two decades where homeless/migrated Kashmiri Pandits (me) were highlighted, but I have definitely seen a program every week where in reporters go to Kashmir and sympathize with people who shout Hindustan Murdabad. How ironical. Also it is so sad to see few of our Kashmiri Pandit community who are still staying in the valley because of their business interests speak almost in the same language but in minsed words to ensure their stay is prolonged, but they dont seem to understand what harm they are doing to themselves and to their community. Much has been said about this subject and much will be. I dont want to go into this.

What I am looking forward for is what are the thoughts of all Indians on the subject of Article 370. Why should it not be abolished? I would especially like to know the views of my Kashmiri Pandits brothers and sisters on this? Is there any drawback for us if this article is removed.

I think this is the best solution for the problem. If JK is in India, why only JK should have a special status? In that case every state will ask for this status. Now we have seen Kashmiri muslims openly asking for Azadi and nothing less than that and it is being highlighted by media. Even they speak in their language. OK... GO ON.....
Why shouldnt we also stand up and speak, blog, raise our voice, it has to be done to save Kashmir. Let us leave our personal differences, shout in one voice to remove Article 370, we dont need it now, we are thrown out of the valley, our generation is on the verge of extinction because of we marrying in other religions/casts (myself being among the very first :-)). So let us not think of this issue as our separate issue. let us talk about it as an issue within India.
